There are four videos in this series.
Here are the main steps in this Counterfeit Island Walkthrough in video #1 above:
1. Balloon Boy: Walk to the right until you reach BoBo's Clown Store.
Grab a balloon from inside the store and continue walking right until you reach the little boy who is crying.
Hand him the balloon and watch him float away.
2. Underground Tunnel Tour Tickets: Walk left until you reach the WEB Internet Cafe.
Go inside and talk to the man with the beard who lost his tickets to tour the tunnel.
Exit the cafe and walk right until you reach the trash can to the right of the tunnel entrance.
Click on the right-most trash can and move trash out of the way until you reach the tunnel tickets at the bottom.
Head back to the Internet Cafe and return the tickets to the man.
He'll give you one to keep for yourself.
3. Torn Picture Piece #1: Leave the Internet Cafe and walk right until you reach the tunnel entrance.
Hand the tour guide your ticket and enter the tunnel.
Work your way down and to the left until you come to the light bulb hanging in front of some old skulls.
Climb the light bulb cord until you reach the top, then jump over to the right to grab the torn picture piece.
4. Torn Picture Piece #2: After jumping down from the light bulb cord, walk to the left then down until you get to the end of the tunnel.
When you exit the tunnel you'll meet a strange man who says "Get the job, then meet me back here when night falls.
Hurry, you're our only hope!"
Walk to the right and you'll see another torn picture piece.
After you grab it, walk right up the hill until you get back to the street level.
5. Torn Picture Piece #3: Walk left and past the dock until you reach the boat.
Grab the torn picture piece at the top of the boat's mast.
6. Torn Picture Piece #4: Walk right until you reach the Museum Fantastique.
Jump on the window sills until you reach the top of the building and grab the torn picture piece next to the flag.
7. Torn Picture Piece #5: Walk right until you reach the Web Internet Cafe.
Jump up on the ledges until reach the larger middle ledge near the top.
Jump to the ledge to the right to get the torn picture piece.
8. Museum Job: Walk to the left and enter the Museum Fantastique.
Click on the security guard at the entrance and tell him you're "interested in applying for the job".
Walk to the left then up the stairs until you find the assistant curator in front of the Forgery Detection Lab.
He'll tell you "Four paintings have been place in the wrong wings.
Find them and return them to their correct spots."
The paintings are all in special sections around the museum (cubism, realism, expressionism, impressionism).
The trick is to recognize which paintings belong in which sections.
Once you get each painting in the correct section, walk back up the stairs and tell the assistant curator in front of the Forgery Detection Lab.
He will give you a job in the Forgery Detection Lab.
9. X-Ray Device - Test 1: Enter the Forgery Detection Lab and talk to the assistant curator.
He will explain what the machines are for.
Click on the first machine and start X-Ray Device - Test 1.
Look at each painting then click on the one that's different from the others.
The X-Ray wand reveals that one of the paintings is painted on top of another painting, which is what the artist normally did, indicating it's the real one.

Here are the main steps in the Counterfeit Island Walkthrough video #2 above:
10. Magnifying Glass - Test 2: Examine each painting with the magnifying glass.
Look closely at the signatures and identify the one that's different.
11. Photo Fake - Test 3: Examine the photo and click on the area that proves the photo is a fake.
For example, the dark side of the moon shouldn't have stars showing through it; it should block the stars.
12. Supply Room Key: Walk over to the next machine and click on it to run the paint sample chemical test.
Click on a paint sample to drop it in the beaker.
When the chemical "add timer" starts, click on the correct chemical color (shown by the boxes in the timer) at the correct time to determine if the painting is a fake.
Once you've finished all three paint samples the assistant curator will give you the supply room key.
13. Torn Picture Piece #6: Head left and leave the Forgery Detection Lab.
Walk to the right and enter the statue room.
Walk to the left and enter the Security Room.
Run to the left until you reach the supply room and use your key to open the door.
Once you open the door, grab the last torn picture piece.
Work your way back to the entrance and leave the Museum Fantastique.
14. Catch a Thief: It's now evening and time to return to the strange man we met in step #4.
Run to the left until you get to the docks then jump down and talk to him.
He'll tell you "The thief is going to strike tonight.
Get moving!"
Enter the tunnel and work your way up to the top.
You'll be blocked by a gate with a face nearly matching the torn picture pieces.
Align the pieces of the face to match the picture then click on the symbols at the top of the circle to open the gate.
This will put you inside the supply room again.
Use your key to get out of the room and enter the Statue Room.
Hide behind the statues to avoid the security system lasers as you work your way to the right and enter the Main Hall.
In the Main Hall, work your way to the top and climb the light bulb cord.
The alarm will go off and you'll be arrested as the thief.
15. Security Guard's Time Card: The next morning you'll awake in jail and have to take a lie detector test and answer questions for the Lie-O-Matic 3000XL.
Once you complete the test the investigator will ask you to meet her at the Museum Security Office to review the security footage.
Head back to the Museum Fantastique and go to the Security Office.
The security guard will tell you the other security guard is missing.
Head over to BoBo's Clown Store to find him.
He'll give you his time card.

16. Key Card: Head back to the Museum Security Office and click on the last set of computers on the right to view the security footage.
Get a screen print of the strange man and show it to the investigator.
She'll tell you to show it to the people in town.
Leave the Museum and run to the right.
Show the picture to the mime and she'll give tell you the Strange Man is at the Jazz Cafe.
Run to the right until you reach the Jazz Cafe and enter it.
After talking to the Strange Man he will run away.
Follow him outside and chase him on the scooter to the docks.
At the end of the dock he will drop his key card.
Pick up the key card and head back to the right toward the museum.
17. Van Gogh's Starry Night: Enter the museum and talk to the assistant curator.
He will give you a package containing Van Gogh's Starry Night.
Click on your items then on the package with Van Gogh's Starry Night to examine it.
Use the X-Ray wand to examine the painting to see a message that says "Meet me at the museum on Early Poptropica Island.
Tell no one.
You're being watched.
The Curator."
18. Inspector Veuve-Niore's House Key: Exit the museum and walk back to the right until you reach the rope for the travel balloon.
Climb the rope, get in the balloon and go back to Early Poptropica.
Once you arrive, enter the Pop Art Museum on the left.
Walk left and speak with the lady in the purple dress.
She will give you a Key.
19. The Scream: Leave the museum and travel back to Counterfeit Island.
Once you jump out of the balloon, run to the right and speak with the painter outside of The Moldy Baguette Inn.
He'll tell you he sold a painting to the Investigator with no frame.
Run to the right until you reach the Inspector Veuve-Niore's house ("Veuve-Noire" is French for "black-widow") and use the key to enter.
Jump to the second floor and click on the painting that's there.
The edge is slightly peeled back and pulling off the painting reveals The Scream.
20. Breaking Out: The lights will go out and you'll awake underground and tied to a chair.
The Black Widow and the Strange Man will be there.
The Black Widow will demand to know where the other paintings are.
When she leaves work your chair over to the Strange Man's chair so he can untie you.
Run to the right and go out the door.

21. Catching the Black Widow: Work your way to the top and avoid running into the Black Widow's men so you don't get caught.
Use your key card to go through the door and enter The Black Widow's Private Gallery .
Once inside the Black Widow will try to destroy the art by throwing it at you.
Catch the art and avoid the bombs while turning the handle on the scissor lift to raise the Stange Man up to the same level as the Black Widow.
He will knock her down to the first level and she will be caught.
22. Island Medallion: Head back to the museum and meet the Curator.
She will show you something special then give you an Island Medallion for Counterfeit Island.
